iOS keyboards cannot record audio. Scribe starts the microphone in the app, then you swipe back. The mic then stays ready between takes so the next Talk is instant.

It lets the keyboard exchange dictation text, Dictionary and settings with the Scribe app through a shared container on your phone. The keyboard makes no network requests.

Accessibility. Scribe needs it to notice your shortcut and paste the result. Turn it on in System Settings › Privacy & Security › Accessibility; no relaunch is needed. Then check which shortcut is set in Settings › General.

Yes, with the microphone, for up to four hours. iOS does not let Scribe capture other apps' call audio. On Mac, meetings capture the microphone and the call audio.

No. Each device keeps its own Library, Dictionary and settings. Export Library… makes a backup file you can import on another device.

Open Recently Deleted at the bottom of the Library and tap Restore. Deleted notes and meetings stay there for 30 days.
